Legacy Pathways
Legacy Hydroponics Brings Fresh fruits and vegetables directly to Senior and Disability-Friendly Housing Units with Fresh Pathways Program. This initiative is designed to make it easier for those who may face mobility challenges or have limited access to transportation to obtain fresh, nutritious food. These fresh food markets will be set up in the lobbies of selected housing units, offering a convenient and accessible solution for residents to purchase fresh produce. By eliminating the need to travel to a grocery store or market, Legacy Hydroponics is helping more people incorporate healthy, fresh ingredients into their daily lives. “At Legacy Hydroponics, we are committed to ensuring that everyone in our community, particularly seniors and people with disabilities, has easy access to the fresh food they need to maintain a healthy diet. “The Fresh Pathways Program allows us to meet people where they are by setting up weekly fresh food markets in the very places they call home. “Program Features: Weekly Pop-Up Markets: Fresh produce is delivered and sold directly in the lobbies of 15 senior and disability-friendly apartment units each week, ensuring residents have easy and reliable access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Convenient Access: By bringing the market to residents’ doorsteps, Legacy Hydroponics eliminates the barriers of transportation and mobility, providing a simple way for residents to get fresh, healthy produce. Healthy, Fresh Choices: The program emphasizes making fresh, nutritious food available to help improve the well-being and dietary health of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Community Engagement: By setting up these local markets, Legacy Hydroponics fosters a sense of community, allowing residents to interact with us and neighbors, creating a social and supportive atmosphere around healthy eating. Legacy Hydroponics recognizes the unique challenges faced by those living in senior and disability-friendly housing units, particularly when it comes to accessing fresh food. The Fresh Pathways Program is designed to reduce those challenges by creating a consistent, easy-to-access solution that supports better nutrition and overall health. As part of the launch program, residents of participating apartment complexes will receive special introductory offers and discounts on their first market purchases. Please share this information with those you feel will benefit from this program.
